- The FBI and Entrapment In The American Muslim Community

Theme: “It literally boils down into if you cannot find terrorists within the Muslim Community, make terrorists, create terrorists.” Yassir Fazaga, Imam Orange County, Islamic FoundationThe continued violence and extremism that Muslim communities face in the world today, whether it is at the hands of those outside our community, or it is at the hands of Muslims within our community deserves to be addressed. We are not immune from this phenomena and its circle of effects and counter-effects.Goal: To educate the leadership on the methods and dangers of entrapment and provide the tools needed to prevent the entrapment of its congregation to become terrorists in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania.Thereafter, the leadership will be asked to invite its congregation to attend the presentation by Trevor Aaronson, award-winning Aljazeera America investigative journalist. He will speak on “The FBI and Entrapment in the American Muslim community” how to avoid it and show his film, Informants (47 minutes). The event will be held Sunday, Nov. 15, 3:00-6:00 pm, at Friends Center in Philadelphia.
